What I Design
Weddings
Full-service floral design for ceremony and reception: bridal bouquet, bridal party flowers, boutonnières and corsages, aisle arrangements, arches and installations, sweetheart and guest table centerpieces, welcome signage florals and guest favors.
I work either as your florist alone, or as full creative direction for the whole look of the day.

Complete design of a dinner or celebration, not just the flowers: concept and mood board, table linens, tableware, candles, decorative details and floral centerpieces — everything built to one idea.
For full art direction the design fee is 20% of materials, production and installation.

Flower Subscription
Fresh arrangements delivered to your home, office or club every week or every two weeks. Each arrangement is designed around your interior, not assembled from whatever the shop had that morning — so the flowers read as part of the room rather than something bought on the way home.
Vessels matter as much as the flowers: in a house that took years to get right, nothing on the table should look accidental. I keep two vases in rotation, so a fresh arrangement arrives while the previous vessel goes back to the studio. You can buy the vases or use mine.

How We Work Together

Consultation
Free, up to 30 minutes, in person or on a call. We talk through your venue, your date, your palette and your budget.

Venue visit
I come to the site and see the space in daylight, at the hour your event will actually happen.

Design
I build a mood board and hand-draw the sketches in Procreate, placing the design into photographs of your actual venue. You see your space with the finished work in it before anything is quoted.

Quote
Pricing is built only after the sketch is approved, so the numbers describe the design you agreed to rather than a guess. A $1,000 retainer secures your date; the balance is due 14 days before the event.

Installation and strike
My team of two to three — five or more for large events — installs on site, and we return after the event to take everything down and remove it.
Flowers That Survive a Florida Afternoon
Most wedding flower advice is written for temperate climates. On the Treasure Coast, a ceremony that looks perfect at 4 PM can be in full sun by 6 — and the humidity does the rest.

What takes extra preparation
Hydrangea, ranunculus, lisianthus and delphinium have a reputation for being fragile in this climate. They hold beautifully — but only with specific conditioning.
- Hydrangea — an alum dip and an extra vertical cut to the stem, then a minimum of 24 hours in deep water before anything is assembled.
- Ranunculus — hollow stems that are sensitive to heat at the base, so they stay cold until the last possible moment.
- Lisianthus — water changed regularly while conditioning, and buds kept from over-opening before the event.
- Delphinium — hollow and brittle, handled carefully in transport and stored away from direct air conditioning.
Outdoors versus indoors
Outdoor installations use chicken wire and deep water reservoirs rather than floral foam, and ceramic or metal vessels rather than clear glass, which heats the water in direct sun. They go up last, right before guests arrive, and I plan placement around where the sun will be at the hour of the ceremony rather than at the hour of setup. I bring spare stems to every outdoor event for a refresh before photographs.

Recent Work
Riverside Theatre, Vero Beach
I design the pre-show fine dining events and opening nights at Riverside Theatre — five events to date.
Each one is built to the show rather than to a house style. The opening night of “Almost, Maine” was frosted branches, white amaranthus and cold light; “9 to 5” was gold sequin, typewriters, stacked paperbacks and marigold and coral flowers pulled straight out of a 1980s office. Guests at these dinners see the play twice — once on the table, once on the stage.

Every quote is itemized. Weddings are quoted without a separate design fee. Delivery and installation are quoted as line items, since both depend on the venue and the scale of the work. Subscription vases are priced separately, or provided from my own rotation.

Meet Your Floral Designer
I am Yuliia Hyatt. I trained in floristry in Kyiv and spent a year at a floral and décor studio there before starting my own practice in 2013. For a decade I designed weddings, private dinners and corporate events across Europe.
In 2023 I moved to Vero Beach, and I now design across Florida — from subscription arrangements on the barrier island to weddings in the Keys. Yuliia Flowers is a woman-owned Florida company and a member of the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce.

How much do wedding flowers cost in Vero Beach?
Full wedding florals typically start around $5,000. A recent reception with a cascading bridal bouquet, twelve guest table centerpieces, ceremony and bar florals and sixty guest favors came to $5,030. Individual pieces start lower: aisle arrangements from $120, ceremony arches from $1,500.
Pricing depends on guest count, floral density, installations and season. You get an itemized quote after the consultation.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings and private events, three to six months is ideal, particularly in peak season from fall through spring. Corporate events and one-off arrangements usually need one to two weeks. If your date is sooner than that, ask anyway.
Can you take a last-minute order?
Often, yes — including an event two days out. I go to the wholesale market, buy what the design needs and produce it. The timeline changes; the quality does not.
Is there a consultation fee?
No. The first consultation is free, up to 30 minutes, in person or virtual. We talk through your vision, venue and budget before any commitment.
Do you handle delivery, setup and breakdown?
Yes. My team installs on site — two or three people for most events, five or more for large ones — and returns after the event to strike and remove everything.

What deposit do you take, and what happens if we cancel?
A $1,000 retainer secures your date and is non-refundable, because the date is then held for you and other work is declined. The balance is due 14 days before the event.
Any changes to the design or the estimate need to be confirmed by email at least 14 days before the date.
What flowers hold up in Florida heat?
Garden and spray roses, cymbidium and dendrobium orchids, anthurium, ginger, protea and tropical foliage handle heat and humidity well. Hydrangea, ranunculus, lisianthus and delphinium also hold beautifully, but only with specific conditioning — alum dips, extended hydration and cold storage until the last moment.
For outdoor work I use chicken wire and deep water reservoirs instead of floral foam, and ceramic or metal vessels instead of clear glass in direct sun.
